Getting Involved

Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way. Below lists a few ways in which you can help save the lives of rescued Pit Bulls.

Foster homes are desperately needed. Foster homes provide a safe and loving environment in which Pit Bulls can recuperate from whatever has happened to them. They could be rescues from fighting rings, they could be strays wondering the streets. They could be dogs that were left to die a slow and painful death. These poor dogs need a safe environment to learn to trust people again. To learn house manners and socialization. But don't think you're going to get it easy. Being a foster parent is a lot of hard work. It takes dedication, lots of love, energy and patience. Especially for the puppies!! How's your carpet? *smile* But the rewards derived from fostering can't possibly be listed. Not only are they too numerous, but there just aren't words to express the wonderful feelings foster dogs bring into your life. Knowing that you are helping to save this precious little life. If you see a dog listed on the 'Dogs Available for Adoption' page that you have just fallen in love with and want to adopt, you will need to send an e:mail to PitbullAdoption@PawPrintz.org and request and application. You will receive a return e:mail with an adoption application attached to it. Inside that document, there is also more detailed information on the entire adoption process.

Cash and/or Services

Donations of Veterinarian Care are especially helpful. All the dogs that come into the rescue are in need of veterinarian care and this can be very expensive. If you are interested in helping with a donation of your time or 'special pricing offers' on services (Vet, Grooming, Boarding, etc.), please contact Cyndi at PitbullRescue@PawPrintz.org.

Cash donations help with EVERYTHING and are especially appreciated.
